The awards, now in its 14th year, celebrate the remarkable volunteers, housing staff and contractors who bring lasting change to communities across England. They are the only awards dedicated to recognising and rewarding engagement excellence and best practice in the housing sector.

The communications and engagement team has been shortlisted in the Outstanding Tenant Engagement (under 10,000 homes) category.

The domestic abuse policy review, led by Julie Terry, Head of Housing Services, has been shortlisted in the Excellence in Tenant Communication category.

Diane Talbot, Head of Communications and Engagement said: "I'm so proud of my team and the work we have done over the last year, we’ve been a bit experimental but we’ve seen our residents properly have their say on this important policy. It’s so exciting to be shortlisted and to see our work endorsed like this. Some of the other shortlisted organisations have been at this stuff for decades so we’re pretty chuffed to be sitting alongside them on that list!"

Jordan Walker, TPAS said: "The standard of the entries received from across the whole of England has been incredible and shows what fantastic work is being done through these challenging times. It’s certainly been tough for us and the judges to shortlist down this year so everyone should be so proud in your team and organisation."
