West Kent’s floating support team based in Medway has been awarded top grades in their 2020 Quality Assurance Framework (QAF) assessment.

These assessments score organisations providing support to the community on a range of areas, such as how the support is planned, implemented and the engagement staff have with their clients.

West Kent’s floating support team offers practical support, advice and help to those with learning difficulties, mental health problems, or experiencing domestic violence and homelessness.

The service has been awarded grade A for needs assessment and support planning, grade A for access, diversity and inclusion, and grade B for client involvement.

Thomas Foreman, Wellbeing Services Manager said: "A great deal of hard work, team work and determination to achieve these scores has gone into this year's QAF, and the team really have showed their resilience and aptitude to continue to deliver the essential support to our clients and participate in a high pressure assessment of the services we deliver, and a difficult time for us all with Covid-19."
