Each home is inspected once every five years to check the electrics. This is our landlord responsibility and is essential to keep you, your family, and your home safe and to check that all your electrics are working as they should be. We still have to carry out these checks, even during the lockdown.Engineer doing checks in a kitchen

This is a scary time, and everyone is worried about their health and the health of their loved ones. We have taken every measure we can to make sure our operatives are equipped to keep everyone safe. Our staff are professional and experienced and will not be in your home longer than they have to, they have been provided with protective equipment, including masks and hand sanitiser, and have been instructed in safe working practices in a pandemic.

It is absolutely essential that we are able to carry out these checks. We will need to check each room thoroughly, which will take approximately four hours. We will be checking and running tests on fittings like plug sockets and lights as well as your fuse boards.

If we phone you, or you receive an appointment letter from us, please let us in if you can. If you are concerned, self-isolating or shielding please call us and we can work together to find a way to do the check safely. The safety of your health and home are our top priorities.
