Would you like to tell us what you think about our services? Are you keen to give us suggestions for improvement? Would you like to connect with other West Kent residents to find out what they think?

We have launched an online discussion group for residents, so you can do all of this, from the comfort of your own home, at a time that works for you.

Our regular workshops offer residents the chance to give their views, make suggestions and give feedback, but coming along to a mid-week workshop, may not be possible for everyone. That’s why we are keen to offer other, more flexible, opportunities to get involved.

All the workshop discussion topics will be posted in the online group, so you will have the chance to join in and share your opinions, even if you can’t get to a workshop. There will also be quick questions and surveys and residents will be encouraged to start discussions in the chat area.

Topics for November will include:

  • Q&A with Tracy Allison,  West Kent's new Chief Executive
  • Missed appointment charges: Let us know what you think
  • Linda Hogan fund: This fund provides funding to community groups- can you help us choose what types of projects should we be supporting?

Anyone who joins the group between 18-25 November will be in with a chance of winning tickets to one of two pantomime performance, either Aladdin in Sevenoaks, or Cinderella in Chatham. If more people join the group than we have tickets, we will have a random draw at the end of the week.

The group is run as a closed Facebook group, and you will need a Facebook account to join. If you would like to know more, you will find a guide to the online group, and details about setting up a Facebook account, on our website westkent.org/getinvolved.

The group can be accessed via the link below, or on our Facebook page by clicking on the groups section of the menu on our homepage, clicking on West Kent residents discussion group and then requesting to join. We will ask you to provide your name and address and/or tenancy number, so we can confirm you are a West Kent tenant before you join, and you will also need to confirm you have read the rules of the group. If you have any questions please email residentinvolvement@wkha.org.uk
